In search of new markets, we decided to join 276 exhibitors at the International Baking Institute Expo (IBIE) in Las Vegas to better understand how some of our products could meet the needs of bakers and their grain suppliers. With this in mind (and thoughts of delectable samples), we were eager to attend IBIE2013, known as the Baking Expo.
Accurate moisture tests are important in every component of the grain industry. From choosing seeds to plant, to the harvest, to storage and sale of dry goods. The more accurate the moisture measurement, the greater the yield and greater the profits. In addition to our most popular portable moisture meter, the KJT130, we’ll be displaying two grain moisture testers - new to the market at IBIE2013 this week. The PM650 and PM450 are specifically designed for grain and/or seed measurement, so we decided to devote a blog to some common questions potential grain moisture meter operators ask.
The International Baking Industry Expo, known simply as the Baking Expo markets itself as “North America’s largest, most comprehensive trade event of the year.” With 20,000 grain and flour professionals, baked goods manufacturers, packaging experts, and cupcake shop owners in attendance, we decided to jump into the mix (so to speak) this year October 6th- 9th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
